Well, it I was warned in the reviews. The first frame I got was a wonky and gapped. Sent it back, and the next one was a bit better. Again, for the price you get a pretty frame that is workable and lightweight. If you want something a bit more high end, prepare to continue shopping.Exchange went smoothly, and no complaints there, except I wish I had a good frame on the first go.I've had a hard time finding a 20x30 frame that was not cheaply made until I received this. It is very nice looking, good quality and seems sturdy and I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. It was sturdily packaged inside the box, which was fortunate, as when UPS delivered it there was a huge hole near one of the corners on flat surface area of the outer box . Some additional packing material could have been used like blown up plastic to keep frame from moving around even though it was attached to thick cardboard inside.I would definitely purchase this again. Please note that it's MDF with a layer of printed bronze colored plastic or paper (not sure which) so there are recurring patterns. The frame is as pictured, sawed and assembled straight with no gaps or crookedness. Where some of the edges were sawed there was a bit of loose hanging residue from the printed top layer, which looked sloppy, but it's not noticeable unless you're way up close. The plexiglass had a protective layer on both sides, after removal it looked very neat and clear. The back is made of cardboard with fixings to hang it both horizontally and vertically. Despite it being cardboard it seems sturdy enough.I'm very happy with it, it looks great with the painting I made, which is what I intended it for.For the price this is an excellent frame. Fit my 22x28 print with zero problems. Backing is just a piece of cardboard held in by bendable metal staples, and acrylic is VERY thin. But once the art is in, it looked great on the wall, so no complaints. From the product pictures, I expected bronze to be brown/copper. What I got looked like a weathered yellow gold (which luckily still worked fine with the colors of the print), picture attached. Easy to hang and appreciated having the sawtooth hangers already installed (one included on each length/width, so you're set whichever way the art displays).I was very pleased with my purchase -color was a perfect match for what I was looking for, price was reasonable and the delivery was very timely. The only minor drawback I found was on the back of the frame. Because it is pressboard material it splinters off and because of static it gets between the picture and the glass portion. That was more of a minor annoyance just trying to remove it before locking the backing in place.I used the frame to frame a puzzle I put together.. The frame was perfect. Sturdy but light weight. It was a perfect fit for my puzzle and it made a beautiful picture to hang over my fire place. It is a Christmas scene and looks great. I am really proud of it and so happy that I picked this special frame. I will be ordering more soon. This is a most basic frame. It is composite wood with a sticker laminate over it. But, it looks good up on the wall. The acrylic is quite thin, which they know because they try to upsell you to thicker stuff (for thirty bucks you could have just included the thicker stuff). The acrylic is nice and clear, and came with a good protective film cover, so the pictures are clearly visible.Yes you get what you pay for and for what I paid it was absolutely worth it! Completely happy with this. Color is perfect! But most importantly the size is perfect. I went to Hobby Lobby and they wanted almost $150! Now again yes you get what you pay for, please realize this is plexiglass and pressed wood. However, this was perfect for what I needed! Would definitely recommend this frame to anyone on a tight budget, it's built well and will last for years!
