Nice frame, good match with the lithograph. Good price and was delivered quickly.I've been looking for a frame to fit this painting, and this one did exactly. Although it cost more than I originally wanted to spend, I now feel that it was well worth the price. If I do say so myself, it makes this old painting that I did in 1963 look rather spectacular. The frame is good quality. Quite sturdy and quite attractive.Beautiful frame. Quality. Actually purchased a few more in different sizes. Size is accurate, quality is really good. Have gotten many compliments.Beautiful craftsmanship and perfect for Christmas gift. Real wood with detailed paint job. Just wish had glass cover but sturdy and heavy as it is glass may be less well suited for wall hanged purposes and the plastic has UV filtering which may prove even better. Item arrived without delay in 2 days even with holiday chaos and was packed very well without any damaged knicks or scrapes I was a bit concerned could happen with this type of product so easily. I’m an Amazon top contributor and write reviews like this because I want great sellers to find great folks that need products that are well made, reasonably priced and go above and beyond to get you the best service for the quality items you could really use. My reviews are completely my honest opinion and never paid or given freebies just my experience I hope gives you the information to buy the best and not waste your time dealing with the rest! :)I paint on 1/8" MDFs and hardwood (that's about as thick as the glass that's on the frames) therefore picture frames for me works best.I used to use barnwood frames for 2 years (for art shows and commission paintings) for its character being distressed. Then I came across Craig Frames a few months ago. I was iffy because it looked too good on picture. So I ordered one (12"×16" copper) to see if it is to my liking. I was pleasantly surprised that it exceeded my expectations. So I ordered another copper and one silver. When the silver came, omgomgomg, it is now my favorite. It's more like brushed nickel than silver. I'm not disappointed at all. The pictures I'm sharing aren't doing it justice. It looks better in person, I promise. My paintings and Craig Frames are a match made in heaven. This will officially be my go-to frames for paintings to come, and there's aplenty coming.-Heavy-Stable-Superb finish-Balance of sheen (not too matte, not too glossy)-Impeccable craftsmanshipOf course, I'm reviewing MY purchase. So far, with 3 frames I've ordered, all of them came in perfect condition and proudly framing my paintings in my home gallery.Would I recommend? Uh.... what you'd think?!Having spent a 34 yr career as an artisan creating and installing museum-grade finishes in homes, and on furniture and cabinetry in my shop, I'm intimately familiar with form, fit, and finish; and I'm not easily impressed. This review is about my 4th purchase from Craig Frames, the first 3 purchases having been 5 star experiences that impressed me on all fronts: The quality of the finishes, the unbelievable value for the price, fast delivery, and the ease of assembly. When I unpacked this frame I was disappointed to discover that the miters were off: on one miter I could see daylight through, and 2 weren't aligned very well. I understand that with high-relief ornate moldings, it's challenging to cut and align seamlessly; and I also understand that this is a business that requires a balance between production values and output. Still, this was one of their most expensive frames, and I'm looking at daylight through one of the miters....Reluctantly, I contacted the seller and voiced my disappointment, expecting to be told that I'd be issued a replacement when I'd sent the other one back, probably on my dime. I sent that feedback at 7:45pm, and by 4:45pm the next morning I had a response from Trevor in Customer Service informing me that they were sending out a replacement frame, no questions asked, and that I could "dispose of the other frame however I choose".....I'd always thought Amazon was the gold standard for customer service...until now. Well done Craig Frames, well done.Update: The replacement frame arrived in 48 hrs, is perfectly acceptable, and is sporting a Gustav Klimt art print and hanging on my living room wall as I write this. That other frame?....I pulled out my magic tool kit and started thinking about how to fix it. A Dremel tool, some sandpaper, some colored wax sticks, and metallic wax highlights and the second frame is actually better than perfect. Thank you Craig Frames for outstanding customer service, and if you want to find out a very easy fix for failed miters, feel free to contact me ;)I have been searching for a frame to hold a non-standard size canvas print that wouldn't break the bank. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a custom frame, nor did I want to cut the print down. I was so happy to find Craig's Frames on Amazon. I chose the black and gold frame because it had the best price for the size I needed and free Prime shipping. I could not be more satisfied! The frame arrived quickly and safely packed. The frame is very rich looking and feels well made. The included hardware was simple to install and works great. It's not solid wood (and I didn't expect it for such a low price point) but it looks like solid wood. The gold and black is elegant and makes my canvas look like a painting. The acrylic was crystal clear once I removed the protective coating. I was glad not to get glass because it's more likely to break in shipping and makes the frame so much heavier hanging on the wall.Overall, this is an outstanding value for a reasonable price ($45.99 as of this writing). Highly recommended! This frame was way more beautiful and amazing in quality than expected!! Love it so much and perfect design for our wedding photo!
