This is a frame that is MDF with a contact paper veneer that looks like distressed wood. The frame is quite flat and that kills the illusion on closer inspection.Functional? Yes.Good Value at $62 for a 23 by 34 frame? No.I've seen better stuff at a department store for less money.Frame is so thin that it's impossible to screw in a picture wire on the back. It comes with the saw tooth bars on the back, but I personally don't think you can pictures straight enough with those.
